Stockport Food Network is running a food drive from the 11 April and organisations are not only welcome to donate food, but also asked to host a ‘hub’ to collect donations.
The Stockport Food Drive is taking place from 11th to 17th April and is urging businesses and organisations in Stockport to donate food for those facing food poverty. Stockport Food Network will provide the food to food banks, community groups, breakfast clubs and pantries.
Can you donate food?
With cost of living increases at an all time high, fuel and energy prices soaring, many people are struggling. There has hardly been a more important time to support local food providers who need help to feed Stockport’s most vulnerable residents. Can you donate ambient food?
Could your business be a ‘Food Drop Off Point’?
Stockport Food network is depending on the help of local businesses and organisations to volunteer to become a food drop off point.
