STOCKPORT BUSINESS EXPO HAILED A SUCCESS

Hundreds of businesses flocked to Edgeley Park for the second Stockport Business Expo, organisers confirm event will return in 2014.

The organisers of the Annual Stockport Business Expo confirmed today that the Stockport Business Expo 2013 surpassed all targets by increasing its delegate footfall by over 19% year on year.  The event took place at Edgeley Park Football Stadium on the 21st November 2013 from 10.00am to 4.00pm. 

The Stockport Business Expo is owned and managed by local conference and events company, innov8 Conference Services, who in 2012 launched the Show after feedback that Stockport needed a major Business to Business event for local enterprises.

“Events like these just show that there is strong business community in Stockport,” explains Emma Powis the Show Manager. “As organisers we could have sold out the Exhibition Stands three times over, and the feedback from the delegates has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Innov8 confirmed that the show will return to Edgeley Park on the Wednesday 19^th November 2014 with plans for more exhibitors and more delegates at the event.

Ria Taylor from ACL Finance who exhibited this year, said: “The event was well organised, with a variety of exhibitors and a good steady flow of attendees. Look forward to being there again next year.”

This sentiment was backed by the vast majority of exhibitors with Rob Westhrop from WPA Healthcare confirming “This year’s Stockport Expo was a great event to attend. The attendance was well up this year, with many people showing strong interest. I will do it again.”
