
The annual awards were set up by Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants back in 2012 to recognise and reward business excellence in the district.
A key strength of the Stockport Business Awards is that it is organised and managed by businesses and business people.
Each week new shortlisted companies will be announced and additional information about them provided. This weeks companies are: Leads 2 Trade, S I Sealy and Woodbank Office Solutions. The Business of the Year £1-5m award is sponsored by Gorvins Solicitors. The award highlights some of Stockport’s most successful companies, who pave the way for other ambitious businesses in the borough.
Leads 2 Trade
The online digital marketing company that supplies real time sales leads by utilising the most state of the art technology to over 35o companies throughout the UK. Since setting up in 2006 they have successfully supplied in excess of half a million double qualified sales leads. Demonstrating that the company has continually progressed from strength to strength.
S I Sealy
With over 60 years’ experience across all market sectors, it is no surprise that S I Sealy have become one of the largest specialist building services engineering design firms in the Northwest. Their core values centre around quality in every area of the business and this has been actively reflected throughout 90% of their work, to date, being repeat business from an impressive client list. The company prides themselves on the fact that it’s engineers receive widely spread acknowledgement for being amongst the best in the business.
Woodbank Office Solutions
Since Janet Bowden founded the company in 1989, it has grown to a thriving business that is one of the UK’s largest Konica Minolta and Kyocera suppliers of digital, multi-functional photocopiers and network printers. Woodbank’s reputation precedes them from the investment into the value of customer service leading them to be the fast growing business that retains almost 100% of it’s clients and continuously receives recommendations from them.
Winners will be announced at a Black-Tie dinner at Stockport Town Hall on 12th October which 400 of Stockport based businesses and delegates will attend. The awards are a great representation of the cross-section of varied and successful businesses we have in the Stockport area.
