Founders, organisers, and main sponsor CN Chartered Accountants held the official launch of the 2024 Stockport Business Awards, which saw Mentell announced as the awards’ charity partner.
The launch event on Tuesday 26th March was held at CN Group’s head office, in Cheadle Royal Business Park. Guests had the opportunity to network with people within Stockport’s business community and hear all about what to expect for this year’s event.
Founder of the awards, Andrew Baggot, from CN, presented updates on what to expect this year.
This year’s categories were also announced with entries opening on the 10th of April.

This year’s sponsors were also announced, with continued support from headline sponsors Gorvins Solicitors and category sponsors, Dawn, Marketing Stockport, Stockport Council, CN Financial Planning, CN Strategic Advisors, and Edgeley Park. New sponsors for 2024 include Grassroots Recruitment and Stockport College.
The last announcement of the evening was this year’s Charity Partner. Mentell was named as the 2024 Charity on the evening, with Chair, Alice Atkinson commenting,
