The shortlist has been announced for Stockport Business Awards 2017. The awards, now in their 6th year, were set up by Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants back in 2012 to recognise and reward business excellence in the town.
Judging took place at headline sponsor Orbit Development’s Beckwith House property last week, and the panel was made up of 9 local business people including representatives from other headline sponsor Gorvins Solicitors.
Chelsea Maher, Marketing Manager at Clarke Nicklin, commented;
“The quality in entries this year was the highest it’s ever been which was great to see. I think that’s a really positive reflection of the vibrancy of local businesses and the success they’re currently experiencing.
“Judging day is always a tough one, and this year it was harder than ever, the panel really had their work cut out! We’d like to thank everybody who entered for taking the time to engage with the process, and congratulate the shortlisted companies on making it to this stage. Best of luck to everyone for the night!”
Winners will be announced at a Black-Tie dinner at Stockport Town Hall on 12th October which 400 of Stockport’s finest will attend.
