The third annual Stockport Business Awards are now open for entries and this year there are 13 award categories, with new awards such as Best Not-for-Profit Organisation and Young Business Person of the Year (under 35).
Entries are open until the end of June and winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in October at the Hallmark Hotel.
Ben Poland of awards organisers, Clarke Nicklin, said:
“The categories are all really varied and we try to ensure that there is something for everyone. That is why we’ve introduced the not-for-profit category this year. It is really important to recognise the numerous organisations, whether they are businesses, groups or charities, which are not for profit and are doing really good work here in Stockport.”
Andrew Baggott, MD of Clarke Nicklin, added:
“Over the past two years it has been great to see the quality and quantity of successful businesses in the borough that are entering the awards. We hope to uncover more great companies and look forward to celebrating with them in October.”
