A business in Stockport is among the Greater Manchester organisations recognised for leading the way with good employment practices across the city region.
Family-run business, Datesand, has been shortlisted in two categories in the region’s Good Employment Awards: Best for Employee Engagement (SME) and Best for Inclusion (SME).
Based in Bredbury, Datesand has been supplying products to the biotechnology sector since 1980, and scooped the Best for Health and Wellbeing catergory in last year’s awards.
Claire Wood, Director of Datesand, commented:

The Greater Manchester Good Employment Awards have been created by the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter to celebrate employment excellence. The awards champion work underpinned by a commitment to equality, fair pay, and giving employees a say in how their workplaces are run.
