
Simon Charles Auctioneers & Valuers, a Stockport auction house, is hosting an open day on Saturday 2nd of March.
The auction house sells end of line stock, surplus stock, and customers returns on behalf of high street retailers. Simon Charles Auctioneers’ live and online auctions give people the chance to buy high street and retail products such as furniture, electronics, cosmetics and more, for a fraction of the RRP.
Sharlene Rothwell at Simon Charles Auctioneers said:
“We are organising this open day for all those that always wondered what It is like to buy things from an auction.
“We are here to answer questions such as who can bid, how to bid and what are the products that are being auctioned.”
The aim of this event, called ‘Come and See Saturday!’, is to allow anyone who may be interested in buying from an auction the chance to come down to Simon Charles Auctioneers auction house and see first-hand how it works.
People can also learn the dos and don’ts of bidding, speak to auctioneers, ask any questions, and also see how a live auction works.
Rothwell added:
“There is no obligation to bid in any of the auctions when visitors attend our event. But if anyone feels they might like to, then please make sure to bring proof of ID and address with you.”
The auction house will also be providing a free hot drink to all attendees.
The event is on Saturday the 2nd of March 2019 from 9.30 am to 12.30.
