
Stockport based firm of accountants, HURST, has signed a three-year deal to base its city-centre offices at a co-working space on Deansgate.
The accountants is headquartered in Stockport, and also has a London office, has taken office space at a flexible workspace Spaces 125 Deansgate for its location in Manchester city centre. One of over 400 Spaces locations worldwide, the new 120,000 sq ft site on Deansgate, close to Spinningfields, is due to open in July.
HURST had piloted co-working at another site in Manchester over the past year, and the deal with Spaces will give the Stockport accountants access to co-working facilities at Spaces other properties both in the UK and internationally.
With more flexible working practices in place following the coronavirus pandemic, the Stockport accountants anticipate the shift to co-working will help the company adapt to new ways of working. Simon Brownbill, a HURST partner and director of practice development, said:
We wanted to maintain a grade A city centre presence with maximum flexibility and chose Spaces Deansgate because of its central location and excellent facilities. As we all adapt to new ways of doing business, the co-working proposition suits us perfectly.”
