Sponsor needed for Beechwood Cancer Care Centre golf day

Beechwood Cancer Care Centre is looking for a sponsor to support its golf day after a last-minute cancellation.

This year’s golf day will be held at Stockport Golf Club on Thursday, June 30, and and is in memory of their late CEO Allen Whittaker, who recently lost his own battle with the disease.

The sponsor will be able to enter a team, place advertising on the course, get tickets to future Beechwood events and have their name on the trophy.

The cost is £3,000 with all money going to the Stockport charity.

Fundraising manager Angela Gray said: “The golf day is always a great day for Stockport businesses and this year holds special meaning with the loss of Allen, who was a proud Stopfordian and a big supporter of the golf day.”
