
South Manchester Digital Network, a collaboration between Manchester Digital and Stockport Council, have brought their events online and are hosting a panel discussion event.
The event will continue on themes raised earlier in the year at the Stockport Business Summit 2020, covering the future of digital in the town’s local economy. Panellists will explore how advancements in technology can provide opportunities for businesses, allowing them to be more efficient and competitive. The conversation will align to recent experiences and the role of digital in the recovery phase and building back better after coronavirus.
Speakers announced so far include:
- Steve Oliver, CEO and co-founder, Music Magpie
- Simon Wharton, Director Business Strategy, PushON and Entrepreneur in Residence at We Work Labs
The panel discussion will look at the way recent changes to our lives have impacted our work and what doors this has opened online for businesses. Discussions will also delve into the digital advancements that are going to have the most impact in years to come and how to harness these to remain competitive.
The webinar session will take place at 10am on Tuesday 2nd June, attendance is free, and spaces can be booked through the event’s Eventbrite listing.
