Solutions SK winners on election night

Solutions SK were winners on the biggest night of the year as they played their part to ensure all ran smoothly at last Thursday’s local elections.  

Planned over several months, their business areas worked together behind the scenes.

Karen Randles from Stockport Council’s Election team said: ”The teams from Solutions SK were exceptional; incredibly professional and assisted at all times to ensure the event ran smoothly.”

In addition to providing hot drinks and food for hard working counters and officials, from the beginning of the event right through to the early hours of Friday morning, the Solutions SK ‘one stop shop’ were also part of the team organising the locations and installations of the polling booths, as well as arranging temporary power and heaters.

Security was of course a responsibility high on everyone’s agenda and overnight guarding of all postal votes was essential. The Solutions SK security team provided guards for the full duration of the vote and count process which started on 26 April and completed at approximately 2.30am on Friday 6 May. In addition to this, they continued with regular mobile patrols around polling stations ensuring all locations were fully secure.
