Smart Works brings discounted fashion to Merseyway Pop-Up Shop

Women’s employment charity, Smart Works Greater Manchester, is returning to the Pop-Up Shop in Stockport’s Merseyway Shopping Centre.

Smart Works is a charity that empowers women’s independence by supporting them back into work: the organisation provides clothes and interview coaching to ensure they have every possible chance of being offered a job.

The charity’s presence at the Pop-Up Shop gives Stockport fashionistas the chance to shop new and pre-loved designer and high street items and enjoy up to 70% off normal retail prices, with 100% of the proceeds going to support women to get the confidence and the clothes to return to the workplace.

Many of the outfits given to their clients and for the sale have either been donated to Smart Works by some of the UK’s largest and well known fashion houses or given as gifts / pre-loved items.

Smart Works Greater Manchester will occupy the Pop-Up Shop at Merseyway on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th September from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturday 21th September from 9am to 4pm.

All proceeds raise from the fashion sale will go the Smart Works Greater Manchester so they can continue their work in supporting unemployed women to return to work with confidence and transform their lives.
