SAS Daniels has been short-listed in two categories – ‘Professional & Financial Services’ and ‘Low Budget Campaign’ – in the Northern Marketing Awards 2013 for their campaign – “Rooted in Cheshire”.
Following a successful two-year campaign to increase market share throughout the North West, the firm wanted to put together a campaign to demonstrate an on-going commitment to the geographic areas closest to their office locations in Chester, Congleton, Macclesfield and Stockport.
The objective was to educate the audience on how the lawyers throughout the group are ‘rooted’ in and committed to the local areas in which they operate and live, engaging in a manner that was friendly and approachable.
The creative execution centred on the lawyers being ‘rooted’ in their local areas and highlighted their lawyers’ significant expertise (many with prior experience of working in city centre law firms) so the local audience can have access to the best lawyers in the region – on their doorstep.
The rooted theme involved imagery of trees, either pictures of real trees or illustrated trees – encompassing the words of all our service lines. The illustrated trees provided a visual representation of the campaign while allowing SAS to educate the audience on the full range of services on offer.
The creative was backed by key messaging and a dedicated ‘Locally Connected’ page on their website presenting the key campaign messages together with details of the relevant organisations SAS Daniels work alongside in their local marketplace. [Marketing Stockport being one of those such organisations!]
The campaign has delivered significant return on investment.
The awards dinner, presented by the broadcaster Andy Crane, will see the largest single gathering of senior marketers and their agencies in the North in 2013; around 300 guests are expected to attend the award dinner next Wednesday, 3rd July.
Marketing Stockport would like to wish SAS Daniels good luck!
