Leading Stockport law firm, SAS Daniels LLP, has promoted one of its Commercial Property Senior Associates to Partner, in one of four new moves as the business continues to grow in 2019.
Scott Tams, previously a Senior Associate in the commercial property team is now Partner at SAS Daniels Stockport office. Scott, who qualified in 2004 and joined SAS Daniels in 2016, has vast property experience including industrial estate development, warehouse sales and acquisitions and purchases for pension funds.
Scott is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Legal Association (CRELA), the association of solicitors which undertakes non-contentious transactional and advisory work relating to commercial property.
James Goddard, based at SAS Daniels’ Chester office, has also been promoted to Partner following the significant role he has played growing the firm’s agricultural law offering.
Meanwhile, two solicitors at its Macclesfield office have been promoted to Senior Associate. Steven Percy and Victoria Bury, based in the Commercial Property team and Residential Property team respectively, will take up their new positions with immediate effect.
Jeremy Orrell, (left) Managing Partner at SAS Daniels, said:
“With so many commercial property projects happening across Stockport and Greater Manchester, Scott has been involved in some complex work, showing his ability and knowledge in the area which has made him a vital part of the team.
“Each of our promoted colleagues have also surpassed our expectations with the additional work they undertake to continuously grow their specialist area of law and the firm.”
