North West law firm SAS Daniels LLP has announced three new appointments to its partnership, as it targets continued growth in 2013.
The firm has appointed Karen Barker, Bik-ki Irving and Nicola McInnes and as partners at three of its offices.
Karen (pictured left), an employment law and HR specialist,
advises clients on all aspects of employment issues,
ranging from discrimination and unfair dismissal cases to
facilitating disciplinary and grievance hearings.
She has been promoted from her previous role of associate
having worked at SAS Daniels for 12 years and is based at
the firm’s Stockport office.
Bik-ki, a private client specialist, has also been also
promoted to the role after becoming an associate in 2010
and head of the Wills and Wealth Planning team in 2011.
She advises clients on complex wills and estate planning
issues to include trusts, lasting powers of attorney and estate
administration matters, and is the third partner to be
appointed at the law firm’s Chester office.
Bik-ki is also Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualified and is the regional co-ordinator for Solicitors For the Elderly (SFE).
Nicola, a family law specialist with considerable expertise in complex financial and separation issues, has been promoted to partner and will be based at the firm’s Macclesfield office. She joined SAS Daniels in 2011 and was recently appointed as committee secretary of the Macclesfield and East Cheshire Law Society.
Their promotions reflect the firm’s growth in market share, and come as SAS Daniels continues to make strategic appointments in areas which match the needs of its expanding client base.

The appointments follow a positive start to 2013 for
SAS Daniels. This has included the launch of a new
business support service for start-ups and SMEs,
advising on a number of high profile corporate deals,
and the recruitment of real estate solicitor
James Sweetzer to the Macclesfield office.
