On your marks, get set, BAKE! Robinsons Visitor Centre get set to host their Macmillan Coffee Morning for the fourth consecutive year on Friday 30th September from 10am.
Since their first event in 2013, Robinsons have helped to raise over £1500 for Macmillan Cancer Support through the sales of donated cakes, pastries and sponges from Robinsons employees along with members of the local community.
Olivia Holmes, Robinsons Visitors Centre Manager said: “We look forward to running our Macmillan Coffee Morning every year. It’s a great excuse (not that we need one) to cheat on our diets without guilt and raise some money for a wonderful charity.”
The first ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ was held back in 1990, since then, over £138 million has been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“We want to invite everyone from the community to join us and donate their tasty treats” said Olivia. “It doesn’t matter if you are a future contestant on the Great British Bake Off or know your way to the cake aisle at your local supermarket, every little helps and everyone is welcome to join in the fun!”
Pop along to Robinsons Visitors Centre as the Stockport brewery host their Macmillan Coffee Morning at 10am on Friday 30th September.
