Robinsons new seasonal ale – Freddy Brewger

Stockport based Robinsons new seasonal ale, Freddy Brewger, has been released in time for Halloween – 1,2, Brewger’s coming for you! 

Robinsons Brewery, situated in the heart of Stockport for 180 years, have unveiled their brand-new seasonal beer. Freddy Brewger – a red, full bodied manifestation with a rich and deeply complex flavour and a hint of blackcurrant – is the second to last of Robinsons’ movie themed seasonal ales for 2018.

Gill Yates, Brands Manager for Robinsons Brewery, said:

“We’ve had a line-up of many acknowledged TV and movie inspired seasonal ales this year, which have proven to be extremely popular amongst our drinkers. With Halloween and winter around the corner, Freddy Brewger is the perfect beer for this time of year.

“The pump clip for Freddy Brewger is instantly recognisable, symbolising Krueger’s claw marks followed by the title written in blood red. We really wanted to capture the iconic horror of the movie in our artwork, to make this beer more fun and relatable to our drinkers.”

Freddy Brewger is a 4.3% dark red ale, crafted to slowly sip and enjoy during the dark autumn evenings. Available throughout October and November, be sure to give this chilling concoction a taste.

Available at Robinsons Brewery’s Visitors Centre, selected Robinsons pubs and Heineken stockists. It will also be featuring in the JDW Autumn Beer Festival and additionally in Carlsberg stockists. It will be available to SIBA customers and direct delivered to Amber Taverns, Stonegate and JDW pubs across the country.
