Robinsons Brewery and Licensee Marion Lavelle have welcomed back customers to the newly refurbished Travellers Call pub in Great Moor, a popular and prominent pub on Buxton Road, the second of Robinsons’ outlets to receive a refurbishment within the last month.
Tony Massey, Business Development Manager for Robinsons Brewery said:
“We’re extremely proud of our heartland, in particular our Stockport pubs, so it’s great that we can give the Travellers Call a new look so soon after the last refurbishment in the area. These refurbishments will help strengthen not just these businesses but many other Robinsons’ pubs within the Hazel Grove and Great Moor area.”
Internally, the Travellers Call has received brand new finishes including a brand new colour palette of blues and greys complimented by various upholstery fabrics and leather look seating.
New timber effect flooring along with carpeting has been laid throughout and the small feature cast iron fireplace along with industrial style pendant lighting create prominent focal points around the pub.
Externally, the pub has received new signage, decoration, lighting and hanging baskets; greatly improving the aesthetics and appeal of the pub from the road.
Marion Lavelle, (left) Licensee of the Travellers Call said:
“The change is fantastic and Robinsons’ support throughout has been brilliant. The pub really looks fantastic and it hasn’t lost any of the individuality that our customers loved about it. It’s still very much a traditional ale house and that’s part of the Travellers Call’s charm.”
The Travellers Call, Great Moor, is open now serving a rotating range of award-winning Robinsons cask ales along with world lagers and spirits.
