
Robinsons brewery received special recognition at this year’s Stockport Business Awards. The family brewer, a previous winner at the awards, was honoured for its investment in the town for more than 175 years.
A total of 14 awards were handed out in front of 350 people at Stockport Town Hall.
The Marketing Stockport-sponsored award for the Most Innovative Business went to environmental consultants APEM.

Marketing Stockport members among the winners were Julian Stafford, managing director of Midshire Business Systems, who was awarded Business Person of the Year, Trust Design, IN Accountancy, Life Leisure and SAS Daniels.
Andrew Baggott, managing partner of Clarke Nicklin, who organise the awards, said:
“I am delighted at how the awards have grown and it is testament to the Stockport business community that we can easily fill the largest room in Stockport.
“We were expecting another great night and we weren’t disappointed.”
