Robinsons Brewery has completed a £500,000 refurbishment of a popular Peak District pub, which sees a coffee shop also added to the offer at The Bulls Head in Castleton.
The much-loved walkers pub, popular among tourists to the area, has undergone a full refurbishment, with the installation of a brand new timber bar. Following a modern-country aesthetic throughout, its cosy and earthy feel creates the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy offerings from The Bulls Head’s new food menu, featuring delicious pub classics.

The in-house designer at Robinsons has also incorporated a designated seating area with festoon lighting and stunning planting, so customers can sit and have a pint or a meal while admiring the breathtaking views of the famous Mam Tor.
The latest additions also include the introduction of a coffee shop, the Cow Shed, where guests can indulge in delicious cakes, doughnuts, sandwiches, paninis, and more. Perfectly positioned for walkers embarking on scenic adventures in Castleton, it’s the ideal spot to fuel up before hitting the trails, especially with the warmer months ahead.
The Bulls Head also provides a separate room which has been completely refurbished, which can be used for functions and celebrations. Five en-suite bedrooms have also been beautifully restored with all-new furniture, carpets, and decorations; each room has been carefully furnished to create a relaxing atmosphere.
