FREE SUNDAY PARKING AT MERSEYWAY THIS SUMMER
Shoppers and visitors to Stockport will be able to enjoy free parking at Merseyway car park every Sunday this summer from 5th July to 30th August.
With a wide range of shops, events and visitor attractions on offer in the town centre, Stockport Council is pleased to announce this move that will give visitors the opportunity to come and browse at their leisure.
In announcing the decision Cllr Martin Candler, Executive Member for Supporting Places said “We are very pleased to be able to offer free parking at Merseyway car park this summer.
“Stockport town centre has a lot to offer visitors from attractions such as the Air Raid Shelters and events, through to niche and national retailers. I would encourage everyone to come and rediscover what the town centre has to offer.”
