
The Repair 1st team at Stockport Homes Group have won in the ‘In-house Maintenance Team of the Year’ category, while Stockport Homes Group’s partnership with B4Box won in the ‘Partnership of the Year’ category at the Building Communities Awards 2020.
The winners were announced at a ceremony at Athena, in Leicester, on Friday 28th February.
These awards recognise and celebrate professionalism, excellence and innovation within the housing and construction community.
Stockport Homes’ Repair 1st Service won the award for its pro-active approach and implementations to planned programmes of repairs and its customer satisfaction rate of 98.9%. Investment in decent homes continues to be a key focus, with investment of over £9 million made last year in the repairs service.
Stockport Homes and B4Box won the award for their strong partnership and collaboration, which is demonstrated in both organisations’ innovative work initiatives and commitment to transforming lives, providing training and employment opportunities in construction to people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
