The hard work continually pays off and NK Theatre Arts’ will once again be represented at the regional finals of this years’ Teenstar competition. Vibe, one of Studio 2’s Street Dance team successfully made it through to the next stage of the contest which will be held at Media City on 6th October as the team seek a place in the grand final which will this year be taking place at The O2 Arena in London.
Hannah Gorst said that the dancers were once again a massive credit to NK with the judges impressed with their professionalism:
“A massive well done to each and every dancer who took part. The venue experienced some technical issues, but that just focussed our team even more when they got to do their dance, they were once again a huge credit to the company and we are all very excited about the next round. We are working hard on our material which is being created by all of our Studio 2 Dance practitioners and we can’t wait to see Vibe dancing again”.
The last time NK entered the competition, they ended up finishing 3rd out of the thousands of singers, dancers and performers who entered and there are high hopes for another appearance at the grand final later in the year.
