Britannia Bradshaw International Removals & Storage, with headquarters in Manchester and an office in Birmingham, is ready to expand further into the North and the Midlands after acquiring family-run Britannia Goodwins Removals, a competitor in a deal backed by The Royal Bank of Scotland.
The deal sees Britannia Bradshaw expanding its removal services offering in Staffordshire and South Cheshire, retaining all staff and bringing the total number of group employees to 85.
Mike Andrews, managing director of Britannia Bradshaw, said:
“It is really exciting to be part of this expanding business which is showing impressive growth.
“We have shared a twenty year relationship with The Royal Bank of Scotland and they have sound knowledge of our business which has helped us to continue expansion geographically, increase our headcount and achieve greater financial results.”
Andy Matley, senior relationship manager at RBS, added:
“Mike Andrews is already showing signs of driving business growth and their latest acquisition is testament to the £5m combined annual turnover he is predicting.
“Mike is certainly helping to put Britannia Bradshaw International Removals & Storage on the map and we wish him well as he consolidates both businesses and achieves greater things to come.”
