
Stockport charity, Pure Innovations, has opened a Pop Up Shop in the Merseyway Shopping Centre, selling items made by its clients.
Pure Innovations is a charity supporting people with a disability and other barriers to live more enhanced and independent lifestyles through a variety of projects and initiatives.
The shop showcases the work of clients from various Pure Support projects. Within the shop, art, craft, fashion, ceramics, woodwork and fresh bakery items can be found made by Pure clients across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester.
The Pure Innovations’ Pop Up Shop will be open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.30pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm from 12th April to 29th April.
The charity is the latest occupier of the Merseyway Pop Up Shop, in Unit 88, next to Waterstones, in the shopping centre. The unit has hosted a rotating cast of retailers in the shopping precinct since November 2021 in partnership with retail consultancy Barker Proudlove and can be rented out for up to 6 weeks at an all-inclusive weekly cost, including fit-out, bills and rate.
