Pure Innovations, have announced that the Stockport charity will begin moving services to new premises in Prospect House, Hazel Grove.
Services currently run from the Sanderling Building on Bird Hall Lane in Cheadle, will move to Prospect House on Newby Road in Hazel Grove from late September, with the modern premises better suited to meeting the needs of Pure Innovation’s Stockport Support clients. Support services will occupy the ground floor of Prospect House which will include a cafe area, art room, games room.
The move to new premises will also allow the charity to offer a secure outside space for clients, and the charity is currently planning to improve the space and make it suitable for Pure Innovations’ clients’ needs.
After many years providing support services from the Sanderling Building, the deteriorating fabric of the building and recent problems with flooding mean that it is no longer the ideal setting for the charity to continue its support.
Refurbishment of the ground floor of Prospect House is currently underway ahead of the September move date for services. Later in the year, the charity’s Head Office staff will also relocate to the premises’ second storey from nearby Rhino Court, ending the separation from services that many Pure Innovations staff have found frustrating, bring the charity’s entire head count under one roof.
