Stockport businesses are invited to discover the social value benefits that local Enterprises can offer.
The one-day event will place at Stockport’s Guildhall on Thursday 16th November from 9.30am to 4.30pm and comes as the town marks being named a Social Enterprise Place earlier this month.
This event is to be led by Stockport’s social enterprises and has been co-designed with For Profit businesses in Stockport. The Proper Good Business Conference will be showcasing ways to: connect the private and third sectors; provide introductions to local, innovative services; and show ways to incorporate social value seamlessly into your supply chain.
It’s set to be a fun, engaging and inspiring day of cross sector problem solving and will coincide with National Social Enterprise day, also taking place on the 16th November.
The day’s programme will include a selection of workshops, networking and a lunchtime ‘community soup’ crowdfunding event for social enterprise. The money raised through this event will be reinvested into the Proper Good programme in Stockport.
Stockport businesses can book their places to attend the Proper Good Business Conference, which has been sponsored by CDL, via Eventbrite.
