
Bennett Verby has added to its Senior Management team with an internal promotion.
Adam Rhodes, senior accountant at Bennett Verby, has been promoted to Accounts Manager.
Adam joined Bennett Verby back in 2007 in the payroll department. A year later he moved to the accounts team as a trainee and hasn’t looked back since.
“I’m happy to be moving up in the company,” Adam said. “I’m really pleased to be given the opportunity.”
For the last two years, Adam has acted as the company’s Training Manager, overseeing the execution of the firm’s in-house apprenticeship programme.
The company recently hired a further two apprentices for their Stockport office, making a total of three appointments in 2016 and bringing the total number of apprentices hired seven.
17 year-old Daniel Joynson and 18 year-old Liam Rainey joined the growing team in July. and will have the opportunity to work across the company’s many departments from bookkeeping and payroll, to accounts and audit, to tax.
Meanwhile he has also represented Bennett Verby at various networking events as an Accounts Senior, introducing new clients into the firm and building a network in the local area.
His promotion is the first of many in the firm’s pipeline, to accommodate a growing and more diverse client-base.
