Prevent Breast Cancer has unveiled a new look thanks to the generosity and support of local marketing and design agencies.
The bright new brand identity will be celebrated at an event on 9th March which is also designed to raise awareness of Prevent Breast Cancer and the work they do.
The new branding has created a new look to the charity whose original name was Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention. The charity changed its name to Prevent Breast Cancer in 2016 to make it simpler and clearer for people to understand what the charity does.
Genesis was originally founded 21 years ago.
In 2007 the charity built Europe’s first Breast Cancer Prevention Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Prevent Breast Cancer work to:
- Predict – who is at risk
- Prevent – breast cancer occurring
- Protect- future generations
Several agencies worked to deliver the first campaign for Prevent Breast Cancer: Mediacom donated the online support and have created a new digital marketing campaign; Pixel Inspiration & Big Tank created and produced the film that will go onto social media; Stockport based Studio North supplied the rebrand, copy and imagery.
The event on 9th March event will help to launch the new identity, attract sponsorship and support from business and reach out to those suffering from breast cancer and their friends and families. It will be an opportunity wave a flag for Greater Manchester as the home of world-leading research into breast cancer prevention and to raise awareness of the charity and the work Prevent Breast Cancer do in the region. It is hoped that corporate businesses will attend and offer their support.
