Following a successful ballot, the National Union of Teachers and National Association of Schoolmasters and Union of Women Teachers have asked their members to join in a national one day strike on 27 June in protest over changes to the pensions scheme and other conditions of service.
Parents, guardians and carers of children who attend Stockport schools that have indicated that they will be partially open on Thursday, will need to refer to individual school websites to establish which classes or year-groups will be affected or will operate as normal.
