Platform81 website wins with new look

Despite only being launched this month, the new Platform81 website has achieved recognition and a shortlist in the CSS Design Awards (CSSDA) and a win from the ‘awwwards’.

Digital marketing and web design agency, Platform81 came top in the public vote in all three categories at the CSSDA: Best UI Design, Best UX Design and Best Innovation.

CSSDA is an international web design and development award platform that honours and showcases freelance designers, studios and agencies for work that pushes the boundaries of UI, UX and innovative development.  Not only are the CSS awards judged by a panel of expert judges, winners are rewarded based on feedback from tens of thousands of daily visitors to the CSSDA site.  The judging panel scored the new Platform81 website 7.22 out of 10.

Following on from that success, the Platform81 website was up for another public vote with ‘awwwards’, the awards for design, creativity and innovation on the Internet.

Based on feedback from a panel of specialists formed by the most important designers, creative directors, bloggers and agencies in the industry, Platform81 received an ‘Honourable Mention’ for their new website.

The site has also been awarded ‘The Mobile Excellence Award’ that celebrates work that puts users first, while bridging great design with pure performance and recognition of hard work.

Platform81’s new website was designed to showcase their portfolio and services, while also getting across the personality of the agency.  The redesign project was a collaborative effort between the agency’s teams.

The aim was to create a clean, modern, fresh design with subtle transitions, whilst having a focus on our personality and the work that we do. We wanted it to be easy to navigate and really highlight our case studies as that’s where our work speaks for itself.”
