Stockport’s largest firm of Chartered Surveyors and providers of commercial property services are kicking off the new year with a new digital platform as they prepare for new opportunities and business growth in 2023.
Fairhurst Buckley, formed in March 2020 as the result of a merger between two of Stockport’s most respected and long-established property firms, Buckley Commercial and Fairhurst Estates, are looking for growth to further endorse their position as the region’s largest independent provider of commercial property advice and services.
Despite all the trials that Covid and Brexit threw at the business, the merger has proved to be a resounding success resulting in an expanded team and investment in a new website.
Designed and built by Stockport based digital specialists Platform81, the new site will specifically promote, reflect, and showcase Fairhurst Buckley’s full and extensive range of property services.
Managing Director Nigel Blyth explains:
“On paper there couldn’t have been a worse time to launch the newly merged business, just 2 days before the Government announced lockdown. Yet on reflection, in one way it did us a favour; it gave time for us all to settle in together, to ensure everyone understood the company’s newly defined and combined mission, their roles and responsibilities and to build a united team that was ready to hit the ground running when lockdown eased.
“Since then, we’ve carried on investing in the business; we’ve attracted new clients, recruited new members across the business – from admin support to Director level. Investing in a new bespoke website supports all aspects of the business and, from an SEO perspective, assists in achieving our goals for business growth.”
Director David Buckley, who is responsible for the commercial estate agency side of the business, is delighted with the improved functionality on the website:
“A core function of the new site is the Property Search tool. It was imperative that this is prominent, as it is on the home page, and simple to use from both a customer and administration perspective.
“Platform81 have created an engaging bespoke design developed on a WordPress platform that is future proof and allows us to manage and update the content as required incorporating a property management system, an interactive map, an intuitive property search facility based on specific search criteria and full analytics integration.”
Nick Wroe, Managing Director at Platform81 added:
“It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Fairhurst Buckley to develop a new, more intuitive online marketing tool to support their plans for growth in 2023 and beyond. It has a strong sense of identity in line with their brand, is easy to navigate and incorporates clear messaging to showcase the business, promote their services and demonstrate extensive industry knowledge and expertise.”
