Platform81 is showing it cares for its employees by introducing several new employee wellness incentives in 2019.
The Stockport-based creative agency recently restructured its senior management team who have since made employee satisfaction one of the company’s top priorities, alongside the development of its key service offerings of digital marketing, web, branding, and graphic design.
The first step in making Platform81 a more enjoyable place to work was addressing internal communications and communicating directly with its staff and introducing an anonymous employee wellness survey. The survey questions were inspired by research into the perks and benefits that the wider UK workforce valued the most from their employers around subjects including workplace flexibility, social events, training and development.
As a direct result of employee feedback, Platform81 employees now benefit from a free weekly fruit selection; access to training and development courses and seminars; free quarterly social outings; an extra day’s holiday for every year of service at Platform81; the ability to buy extra holiday time as and when required and office-based games and activities including pool table, dart board, and Xbox One.
To kick off the new wellness incentives, and in celebration of Employee Appreciation Day, the Platform81 senior management team will be treating staff to a free lunch at Stockport’s The Midway on Friday the 1st of March.
“Employee wellness is massively important to the senior management team here at Platform81” explained Managing Director, Nick Wroe. “Staff spend upwards of 40 hours at work per week, it’s our job to make sure they feel comfortable, appreciated, and that their needs are being taken care of.”
Have a great lunch guys and girls!
