Digital and design agency, Platform81, has completed its relocation to a new Heaton Mersey address in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Managing Director, Nick Wroe (pictured), explained that “now is very much the right time to move on” for the agency, saying:
The move will only further enhance our aim to working with ambitious clients and give us the opportunity to give it everything we’ve got!”
“Gilmore Street was our home for seven years, but if the last few months have taught us anything it’s that a change is as good as a rest. The new HQ will help us develop our business and the team even further and we can’t wait to get in there… exciting times for sure!”
Along with an office relocation Platform81 have revisited their Wellness Incentives which were refreshed in late 2018. The Stockport agency will be introducing two work-from-home days per week and more flexible working hours as it adapts during the coronavirus pandemic. Technical Director, Gary Mawhinney added:
Employee wellness is massively important to the senior management team here at Platform81. We’ve learnt during the last 6 months that our team can adapt and change to their working environment. As this time has been challenging for everyone, we feel the split between the office and home when we return will result in lower stress levels, higher levels of job satisfaction and an improved work-life balance.”
“It’s our job to make sure the team feel comfortable, appreciated, and that their needs are being taken care of.”
The agency has recently delivered on multiple digital campaigns for award-winning regeneration company Urban Splash, as well as winning a long-standing pitch for a Midlands NHS project and look forward to strengthening the team and business as they face the rest of 2020.
