Recital Consulting have moved into Orbit Development’s Beckwith House in Stockport with ambitious growth plans.
They are one of many new businesses attracted to the town’s ongoing investment, regeneration and redevelopment activity – all keen to be amongst the first to enjoy the benefits to be brought by the big improvements.
The company’s relocation from Cheadle Hulme comes as it celebrates its fifth anniversary. It also marked the start of the next phase of the company’s strategic expansion and development.
As well as increasing its appeal as an employer – with the range of nearby staff amenities, extensive transport links and car parking facilities – the recent overhaul of the town’s IT infrastructure was also an attractive driver for Recital Consulting.
BT fibre broadband connections at Beckwith House – along with Orbit Development’s Regent House and shortly Mansion House – has recently been upgraded under the Greater Manchester-wide Get Digital Faster scheme.
Such improvements – along with much independent investment from Orbit Developments in terms of additional super-fast connections via Virgin Media and Metronet – means that Recital Consulting is best placed to meet the demands of its predominantly technology customer base with the fastest and most reliable internet connection.
Allan Wroe, Managing Director of Recital Consulting, said of the move: “Our move into Stockport town centre was based on being able to more successfully expand the business. We struggled at Stanley Green to attract the right calibre of employees due to poor public transport links and car parking arrangements. We certainly missed out on some good recruits because of our previous location.
“Our new Stockport business premises comprise three connected office suites on the sixth floor of Beckwith House. This layout is massively versatile and gives us a main office, a dedicated room for training, meetings or interviews as well as a breakout room where we can have more informal team sessions or somewhere to relax during lunch breaks.
“We’d long known that a re-location to Manchester city centre wasn’t for us and felt that Stockport town centre is perfectly placed in terms of accessibility, proximity to Manchester and quality and price of commercial property to meet our needs.”
Tony Jones, Managing Director of Orbit Developments, said: “We pride ourselves on finding and providing flexible solutions for growing businesses so I’m pleased to welcome Recital Consulting to Beckwith House.
“By working closely with Allan and listening to his needs, we were able to configure the exact office space the business needed for its current and future requirements as the business grows within the town.”
“Stockport has more to offer businesses than ever before and its appeal is set to grow with greater investment and improvements to come. The investment in IT infrastructure is positioning Stockport is the place to be for business.”
