
An online forum, hosted by Insider, will discuss Stockport’s ongoing regeneration and future potential for business and investment.
Titled Building on Success: Transforming Stockport for the Future, the online event will take place on Thursday 20th August at 2pm.
During the online forum, panellists will discuss the progress of key developments in the town, both commercial and residential, as well as the growing cultural scene and night-time economy.
Panellists confirmed for the event include:
- Stockport Council’s corporate director for place, Caroline Simpson
- Richard Carder, managing director, UK and Ireland, of chemicals firm BASF, who recently announced a move to Stockport Exchange
- Chris Lloyd, Investment Director of Glenbrook, developers behind STOK, a mixed-use scheme in the former M&S building
- Phil Hepworth, director of AEW Architects, the architects on the STOK scheme
Simon Keegan, editor of North West Business Insider, who will chair the discussion, said:
