Stockport Council is celebrating two years of the One Stockport Partnership, bringing together the public, private and VCFSE sectors for the benefit of communities across the borough.
The borough is marking two years since the launch of the One Stockport Borough Plan with an event in the Stockport Town Hall’s iconic ballroom. Taking place on Thursday 23rd March from 8am to 10am, the breakfast event is an opportunity to reflect on the progress, accomplishments and achievements that have occurred through the One Stockport Partnership. Refreshments will be provided.
At the event attendees will hear about the inspiring work of the council’s partners, businesses, communities, and organisations that has taken place over the last two years to help deliver the priorities set out in the One Stockport Borough Plan.
The event will feature three important showcases structured around the three main themes of the plan: One Home, One Heart, and One Future. This will then be followed by a panel discussion with our local leaders about how we can continue to work and develop our partnerships into the year ahead.
Key speakers confirmed at the event include:
- Councillor Mark Hunter, Leader of Stockport Council
- Caroline Simpson, Chief Executive of Stockport Council
- Jo McGrath, Chief Executive of Sector 3
- Sharon Seville, CEO of First Executive Recruitment and Chair of the Climate Action Now Network
- Nadia Ali, Chair of the Stockport Women and Girls Network
