Local residents interested in working within Stockport’s Health and Social Care sector are invited to a free recruitment event hosted by the borough’s One Stockport partners.
One Stockport’s Health and Social Care Recruitment Event will brings together local health and social care providers and employers across Stockport to showcase the range of career options available, and highlight exciting career opportunities across the sector.
The careers fair will share everything needed to start or take the next step into a career in Health and Social Care, offer valuable insight from others who work in the industry and provide networking opportunities.
The recruitment event has been organised by One Stockport partners including Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, Stockport Integrated Care Partnership, Stockport College, and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Many employers in the borough will also be undertaking interviews throughout the day for live job vacancies they have available, so attendees are encouraged to bring along an up to date CV so as not to miss out on leaving the event with a job offer in hand.
Attendees can also get additional help from a wide range of partner organisations who will be supporting the event who will be on-hand to support you with CVs, interview preparation and other relevant skills.
The event is taking place at Stockport Town Hall Ballroom, Edward Street, Stockport, SK1 3XE on Thursday 29 June from 10am – 4pm.
