Oakridge Training have launched STRIDE, a new leadership programme, aimed at supporting female middle managers.
Many of their clients have asked Oakridge if they can provide support in this area and recent research has also proven the need for a programme of this calibre to support women in management.
Middle management is the key drop out point for women, where the numbers of women in management positions decreases dramatically from 40 to 15 percent.
Director Brigit Egan (left) commented:
“STRIDE is not about ticking the box for quotas nor satisfying the gender debate. The programme is practical and needs driven and helps overcome challenges whilst focusing on the differentiators women have identified as key to fulfilling their career aspirations.”
STRIDE is a 6 month leadership programme which supports women through:
Detailed diagnostics including emotional intelligence personal reflection alongside practical tools and techniques for personal development;
Attendance at 3 Leadership Development workshops (December 8th, January 12th and February 4th) with highly experienced facilitators to be held in Manchester;
Key Themes- Managing Myself, Managing Perceptions and Managing Business;
Focussing on the most important areas of practical support for aspiring women1:1 feedback session and telephone coaching;
