Nominations open for 2024 Made In Stockport Awards

Nominations have opened for creative businesses, makers and artisans, and independent businesses in the borough to enter the 2024 Made In Stockport Awards.

The awards were created by Aqua Design Group in 2021 to support the town’s creative sector to recover after the Covid-19 pandemic. Now in their third year in 2024, the Made In Stockport Awards also enjoy the backing of sponsors Rise Homes, Azets, and SAS Daniels LLP.

Studio Kiki Design, #MISA23 winner, said of taking part in last year’s awards:

“Being part of an awards night that celebrated local independent businesses was such a honour, the buzz it created was so good for the town. It was lovely to meet other businesses at the awards night and celebrate independents that are  making Stockport so fab.”

Businesses can nominate themselves, and also invite customers to support their entry. The businesses which secure the most nominations will be announced as finalists. Awards categories this year are:

• Small Business of the Year, Sponsored by Baker Thompson Associates
• Concept of the Year, Sponsored by Snapes Estate & Letting Agents
• Food Producer of the Year, Sponsored by Robinsons Brewery
• Drink Producer of the Year, Sponsorship Available
• Best Crafter of the Year, Sponsorship Available
• Business to look out for, Sponsored by Coffee Block
• Capturing Stockport Award, Sponsored by Unique Ladies, Stockport
• Independent Shop Front, Sponsored by Snapes Estate & Letting Agents

Entries and nominations can be submitted via the Aqua Design Group website.

Nominations close 10th March 2024.  Finalists will be announced on the 31st March 2024.
