With less than a week to go before entries close on 28th February, time is running out to submit nominations for the 2025 Stockport Rocks! Volunteer Awards.
The second Stockport Rocks! Volunteer Awards will take place on Tuesday 20 May, at Edgeley Park, celebrating the invaluable contributions of local people who give back.
Stockport Rocks! was established in response to requests from our local Voluntary & Community sector, emphasising the importance of recognising and celebrating our dedicated volunteers. Without their generosity, over 1,700 local charities, community groups, and social enterprises would struggle to provide the vital services that keep our communities healthy, happy, and safe.
This year, Sector 3 (Stockport’s charity infrastructure support organisation) is once again partnering with Stockport Council, Stockport County Community Trust, and Marketing Stockport to deliver a memorable celebration for 400 guests at Edgeley Park, as well as headline sponsor Kao Data. The event will honour over 200 volunteers across 12 award categories, recognising those who give back.
Nominations are now open with eleven categories to choose from including the Corporate Volunteer Programme Award which recognises businesses’ employee volunteering programmes.
Nominations close Friday 28 February and you can make as many nominations as you wish.
