In response to government guidance, NK Theatre Arts have announced they will postpone the charity’s upcoming performances of ‘Shrek: The Musical’ until September.
Boris Johnson has advised limited social contact, including warning the public against attending pubs and theatres. As a result, in order to protect and reassure its patrons, NK Theatre Arts has rescheduled performances for later in the year.
Company Manager Darren Stannage said:
Although theatres were not closed, we know that a great number of patrons would not feel comfortable attending Shrek in the current circumstances and it would be irresponsible to go ahead with the performance next week.
“Having liaised with the license holders we have been able to reschedule the performance and very much hope that you will be able to join us for Shrek which will now take place from Wednesday 23rd – Saturday 26th September 2020.”
All purchased tickets are being made valid for the equivalent dates in September.
- Wednesday 25th March tickets will be valid for Wednesday 23rd September
- Thursday 26th March tickets will be valid for Thursday 24th September
- Friday 27th March tickets will be valid for Friday 25th September
- Saturday 28th March tickets (2pm) will be valid for Saturday 26th September (2pm)
- Saturday 28th March tickets (7.30pm) will be valid for Saturday 27th September (7.30pm)
Darren continued:
We very much appreciate your support as we try to come through this very difficult period for the Charity. Should you have any questions, please do contact us and we shall try to answer your enquiry.”
