12 months ago NK theatre arts started the 1000 club membership under the stewardship of Darren Stannage the Theatre Company Manager and Jackie Dootson Business Development Manager. Our first members included Hughes Safety Showers, Midshires business systems and C & C insurance. These were closely followed by Robinsons brewery, Allied Bakeries, Life Leisure and more recently CDL.
We are grateful to these companies for their support which has enabled us to continue our community programmes and workshops. Over 300 people have directly and regularly benefited from their involvement with NKTA plus the tens of thousands of people from Stockport and beyond who have visited The Forum over the last 12 months. The 1000 club partnership sees company’s receive tickets for shows, advertising in souvenir brochures as well as screen advertising in the theatre and foyer areas.
We have also started a refurbishment program to enhance the theatre experience and which compliments the fantastic drama and musical theatre that our audiences are witnessing.
Operating as a charity , NKTA dramatically changes lives of many children, young people and adults and without the support of 1000 club members it would be near impossible to continue this great work , so a big thank you to all our corporate supporters.
