Solo Containment has expanded into a new state-of-the-art cleanroom manufacturing site at Unit 3, Bramhall Moor Technology Park, Stockport.
This impressive £750,000 redevelopment to create a cleanroom manufacturing area alongside a Class 8 Inspection cleanroom, marks an exciting time for Solo Containment who have seen a rapid pace of growth since launching in 2011. The site, currently home to 25 staff, boasts an impressive internal redesign, a dedicated training room and product showroom.
Having outgrown the previous site in Poynton Cheshire the former laboratory site will allow Solo Containment to grow further and build upon the already exceptional standards expected by their customers. The flexible film isolators produced by Solo Containment are used by pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies across the globe.

Martyn Ryder, Director said
“The investment made on the new site supports our drive to meet our customers’ increasing requirements for high quality flexible film containment. It puts Solo ahead of the competition and really strengthens our reputation. We look forward to welcoming our global customers, both old and new, to our dedicated showroom and training facility.”
He added,
“We are thrilled with the quality and capability of this new site, which has taken over 12 months to complete. We now have the capability to increase our order book to take more projects and grow the business into its new home.”
The renovation project was designed by Caroline Ryder of Solo Containment, alongside Rische Group Manchester. Not only has the site got cleanroom manufacturing capacity but a new modern office suite complete with meeting room, training hub, breakout area, chillout space and product showroom. There is also a viewing window of the cleanroom enabling visitors in our training hub to see manufacturing without disturbing the carefully controlled environment.
