Life Leisure’s Grand Central, home to the UK’s most successful swimming club – Stockport Metro – and where generations of residents first learned to swim, has opened it’s fantastic new Stockport health spa.
The health spa is a first for a fitness operator locally, rivalling facilities previously only seen in exclusive clubs.
Open to both existing and new members, the health spa features a sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool, aromatherapy room and relaxation area. The exciting addition follows recent upgrades to the centre’s existing fitness changing facilities and complements Grand Central’s famous swimming facilities including the town’s only 50m swimming pool.

In January this year the centre also introduced two hours free parking for customers. With new slides and a children’s fun pool also set to open later this summer, Grand Central is living up to its name in terms of the level of facilities on offer.
