The Governing Body of Stockport Technical School, a specialist STEM school for students aged 14-19, is pleased to announce the move of the school premises to the former Hillcrest Grammar School site. This move will ensure this historic and important building in Stockport will remain as an educational
establishment.
Stockport Technical School Announces New Location at the Former Hillcrest Grammar School site
Minor refurbishment and modernisation will begin soon with students moving into the new premises in July 2015. Students will benefit from a specialist engineering building, a pastoral base building and outstanding sports facilities including tennis courts surrounded by landscaped grounds. The school will continue to collaborate with Stockport College with students accessing courses on the college site as part of their learning experience.
