Published in the latest New Economy newsletter, City Metric reports on the new Greater Manchester Open Infrastructure Map, which contains geodata of public and private infrastructure – ranging from open public sector and environmental assets to energy utility networks.
The map contains layers of data – from the location of street lamps, to leisure centres, schools, green spaces and planned roadworks – providing useful information across the region.
The map was created by New Economy and Salford City Council, following a request of the Greater Manchester LEP, and with funding from the Cabinet Office.
