NEW HEAD OF FINANCE FOR THE VERNON BUILDING SOCIETY

Stockport’s Vernon Building Society has appointed Laura Shaw as Head of Finance.

Laura qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC in 1998 and has previously held roles at the Leek United and Britannia Building Societies. 

Chief Executive of Vernon Building Society, Mike Hanson, said: “Laura’s appointment as Head of Finance is key to the further development of the strategy of the Society and will ensure that we remain financially stable and continue to grow as a mutual organisation.  We’re delighted to have her on board.”
