
Following Eamonn Boylan’s departure to head up the Greater Manchester Combined Authority – GMCA – Stockport, the Council Leader has extended a warm welcome to Pam Smith, the New Chief Executive of Stockport Council.
The new Chief Executive, Pam Smith, will start in her new role on Monday 4 September.

Council Leader, Cllr Alex Ganotis, said;
“We all extend a warm welcome to Pam as our new Chief Executive. She brings with her a wealth of experience and will play a crucial role in achieving the priorities we as a Council have set ourselves.
“Pam joins an already strong corporate leadership team at Stockport. We’re all looking forward to working closely with her and are confident that she will help us to build on all the great work which is already taking place in the Borough. Pam is committed to working with all colleagues, councillors and partners to ensure Stockport continues to be successful, sustainable and has the public services it needs to thrive in these increasingly financially challenging times”.
Pam joins Stockport from Burnley Council where she was Chief Executive.
